The Hooters Carolina Series Week 9

Blythewood, SC (June 18, 2009)…Scott Feaster (Columbia, SC) carded a one-under par 71 in the final round Thursday to capture the ninth event of the Hooters Carolina Series over the 7150 yard par 72 Columbia Country Club.
 
Feaster, a former University of South Carolina golfer, carded rounds of 68-63-71 for a three day total of fourteen-under par 202 and a three stroke victory over Jon David Kennedy (Hawkinsville, GA) and Kyle Dobbs (Tequesta, FL). Kennedy and Dobbs fired 69 and 70 respectively to finish at eleven-under par 205.
 
Blythewood residents Luke and Adam Hart finished tied for 12th and tied for 14th after rounds of 71 and 73 on Thursday.
 
The former Gamecock collects $5,400 for his first Carolina Series win, while Dobbs and Kennedy take home $2,350 for their runner-up finishes.
 
The Hooters Carolina Series heads to Black Bear GC in Longs, SC for week ten of the series with action starting on Tuesday June 30th and ending up on Thursday July 2nd.
