The Buffalo Run Casino Classic

Miami, OK (June 21, 2009)…Current NGA Hooters Tour money leader Ted Potter (Silver Springs, FL) continued his dominance of the 2009 season by outlasting Martin Flores (Mansfield, TX) through four playoff holes to win the Buffalo Run Casino Classic over the 6960 yard par 72 Peoria Ridge Golf Club. The duo finished regulation with twenty under par 268 totals. Potter carded rounds of 70-68-65-65 en route to the eventual playoff win, his third of the season and second in as many weeks.

“I’ve been playing well, hitting my irons right on and keeping the ball in play. Making some putts never hurts either. I Hope I can keep it going,” commented the Floridian on his third win of the season, the second in as many weeks.

David Skinns (Lincoln, England) posted the low round of the day, a final round ten under par 62, moving him into a solo 3^rd finish at nineteen under par 269 while Cody Freeman (Edmond, OK) and Joe Affrunti (Crystal Lake, IL) will share the 4^th position after each finished at sixteen under par 272.

Jason Dillard (McCalla, AL) and early round leader Rhein Gibson (Australia) posted fifteen under par 273 totals and a tie for 6^th place while Adam Meyer (Fort Worth, TX) finished in solo 8^th after finishing at fourteen under par 274.

“With the wind out here you need to keep the ball down at times and be able to take advantage of it other times, luckily I was able to do a little of both,” commented the back to back champion on his play at the Buffalo Run Casino Classic.

Rounding out the top ten was a group of four golfers ending in a tie 9^th posting thirteen under par 275 totals. This group includes Brent Long (Carthage, TN), Scott Stallings (Knoxville, TN), Russell Knox (Jacksonville Beach, FL) and Joey Lamielle (Sarasota, FL).

Potter takes home $33,566 for the win at the Buffalo Run Casino Classic while Flores receives $16,671 for his runner-up effort.

Next week the Tour travels to Bentonville, AR for the NGA Hooters Bentonville Open contested over the Lost Springs Golf and Athletic Club June 22- June 28, 2009.
