The Bridgestone Winter Series-Week Nine

Ocoee, FL (February 19, 2010)…Rob Oppenheim (Andover, MA) carded a two-under par 69 Friday in the final round of The Hooters Tour’s Bridgestone Winter Series event at Forest Lake Golf Club to capture his second title of the series.Oppenheim, a current Nationwide Tour player, carded rounds of 65-70-69 for a three day total of nine-under par 204 and a one stroke victory over Ted Potter (Silver Springs, FL) who finished in solo second at eight under par 205.
Matt Parziale (Brockton, MA) and Jonathon Moore (Champions Gate, FL) made the move of the day, each posting final round five under par 66’s en route to solo 3rd and 4th finishes respectively.
Oppenheim takes home $7,000 for his victory while Potter takes home $3,550 for his runner-up finish.
With the victory Friday, Rob Oppenheim moves inside the Top 10 on the season long member money list finishing in 8th position. Michael Thompson (Birmingham, AL) captures the money list title finishing with $28,951 while Joe Affrunti (Crystal Lake, IL) maintained his second place position at $28,693.
Rounding out the Top 10 members on the season long money list were Ted Potter, Ryan Gildersleeve, James Vargas, Russell Knox, Patrick Nagle, Travis Hampshire and Yohan Benson. These players will be fully exempt members of the 2010 NGA/Hooters Pro Series and have their membership fees waived.
