Goldsboro, NC (April 9, 2010)…With a one under par 71 Friday, Zachary Sebert (Columbus, OH) captured his first professional victory at the Hooters Carolina Summer Series event at Walnut Creek Country Club.
 
Sebert, a former Ohio State University golfer, carded rounds of 69-70-71 en route to a six under par 210 total and a four stroke win over Ian Hall (Charlotte, NC). Hall finished at two under par 214 after a one over par 73 Friday. Sebert was the only golfer to play all three rounds under par and the duo were the only two golfers to finish under par for the tournament.
 
Jay Woodson (Richmond, VA) and Ryan Tyndall (Murrells Inlet, SC) finished tied for 3rd after finishing at one over par 217. The two will walk away with just over $1,100.
 
Sebert takes home $3,000 for his victory, while Hall receives $1,500 for his runner-up finish.  
 
The top 10 members at season’s end will earn full exempt status for the 2011 NGA Hooters Tour Pro Series.
 
The Carolina Summer Series travels to Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC April 28-30, 2010 for the third event of the 2010 season.
