N. Myrtle Beach, SC… Chad Campbell, the NGA Hooters Tour all time leading money winner with over $776,000 in earnings, as well as 2003 British Open winner Ben Curtis were among five former Hooters Tour players on The United States team that helped bring the Ryder Cup back to American soil on Sunday at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
Joining this outstanding group of alumni were seven-time Ryder Cup member Jim Furyk, four-time member Stewart Cink and first-time member Boo Weekley. 
 
Hooters alumni helped contribute 9 ½ of the 16 ½ points the Americans earned with veteran Jim Furyk and rookie Boo Weekley leading the way with 2 ½ points each. Hooters alums went an impressive 4-1 in the crucial singles matches on Sunday to keep the European team from winning for the fourth straight year.
 
The other seven members of the United States Team without Hooters Tour ties were Justin Leonard, Phil Mickelson, Anthony Kim, J.B. Holmes, Steve Stricker, Kenny Perry and Hunter Mahan.
 
The 38th Ryder Cup in 2010 will take place at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales.
